No one ever said being a writer with a day job and a life is easy

I would like to be able to tell you that I am well on my way to finishing a draft of something. Or that I have a new outline done and getting started on writing a first draft. Or for that matter a revision in the works. But unfortunately none of that would be true. What I can tell you is that I have plenty of projects that I have come up with that I want to work on. And that all of them seem equally as interesting and worth it. Luckily two of them are work on already completed first drafts. Which should mean they are easier to handle. Granted my newest project is writing a script for a web comic… And I have never done that before so we will see how that works.

So in general I have started this New Year with some significant goals in mind. Complete second drafts on two projects. Write a short story that will serve as an intro of sorts to another project for the year a novella. And write a web comic script. At the same time as getting back into blogging after this non-intentional hiatus. Hmmmm is it wrong to look at the calendar and wonder how and or why my writing plate is full and it is only the 7th day of the year?

Hey! Here I thought you had dropped off the face of the planet.

Good to hear you are keeping busy.

One step at a time and all can be done. Good luck with your goals.

Easy it most certainly isn’t. Fun though. Good to have many projects on the go to give you something to step into when you want to look at something afresh. Happy writing!
